AI Contract Overview
The contract covers the procurement of plastic cardiac resuscitation boards measuring 15 by 21 inches, designed for use with Waterloo emergency carts. Each unit includes two brackets and mounting hardware and must be packaged and shipped according to specified commercial standards to ensure protection against damage during transport. Packaging must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding previous military standards, with detailed requirements accessible via the Defense Logistics Agency. The boards are to be delivered in sealed unit containers and suitable commercial exterior shipping containers that guarantee safe delivery at the lowest carrier rate. This solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain FSH with NAICS code 339113, requests two units with a 20-day delivery timeline. The contract references specific quality and technical requirements outlined in the DLA Master List, with guidance on packaging removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies, and is managed through the Defense Logistics Agency’s eProcurement system. All submissions must meet these standards and comply with the rules effective at the solicitation or award date as applicable. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Tina Vu, reachable via email or phone.
