The Contractor shall provide monthly (once a month) on-site mobile document shredding services at the Board of Veterans Appeals Site for the destruction of paper. Mobile shredding shall take place on-site at the Government’s facility and a certificate of destruction issued thereafter. Documents to be destroyed encompass unclassified documents that may contain personal identifiable information/sensitive information. Procedures for removing and destroying these materials must be in compliance with Federal privacy laws and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) policies including, but not limited to, VA Directive 6371 and VA Handbook 6300.1 on the destruction of sensitive records. Onsite shredding of Sensitive Information, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) may be required and must be protected from unauthorized disclosure. Non-paper media is to be collected monthly at the time paper media is collected and shredded and may be destroyed offsite.
