The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for the internal wrench bolt with NSN 5306-015521655, currently supplied solely by SPS Technologies, LLC under part number 94635-7-1, used on Black Hawk helicopters including the UH-60A, UH-60L, HH/UH-60M, and UH-60V models. Companies that believe they can manufacture or legitimately obtain this part are invited to respond by June 4, 2026, by providing their point of contact details and manufacturer location, with submissions sent to april.wynn@dla.mil. This notice is purely informational and does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment from the government; no funds are available for response preparation, and submissions are voluntary and do not obligate the government to award a contract. To be considered as an approved source, interested parties must submit a complete Source Approval Request package through the SAR Program, demonstrating their ability to produce the item to the same or higher quality standards as the original manufacturer. SAR applications for this item without an open solicitation should be sent to the DLA Aviation SAR Program Manager at 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297-5100. The NAICS code for this effort is 332722, and while the solicitation number SPE4A626R0242 is referenced, this action remains a market research tool rather than an active procurement. Responses must focus on technical capability and quality equivalence to the existing approved part.
