The item must conform to the current revision of the applicable military or consensus non-government standard, with past revisions being acceptable only for hardware manufactured prior to the solicitation date. All threads classified as 3A and 3B must be inspected for dimensional conformance using System 22 of FED-STD-H28/20, excluding self-locking nuts and threads below specified diameters. Quality assurance is governed by tailored requirements including RQ001, RQ006, RQ009, RQ011, and RQ017, mandating inspection and acceptance at origin, removal of government identification from non-accepted items, and bare item marking per NASM20004 through NASM20024 Revision 5 and NASM7838 Revision 4. Sampling must adhere to MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331 Table 1, or a comparable zero-based plan, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively and requiring zero non-conformances unless otherwise specified.
