Full Description

This procurement is a Request for Proposal for National Stock Number (NSN) 5306-00-008-5032, Bolt-Self-Retaining, under Part Number BACB30ST10-40) with Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) and Export Control requirements. This is an Army Critical Safety Item (CSI). DLA Troop Support is in the process of developing a solicitation for the referenced item. The solicitation will be an unrestricted acquisition and requires FOB Origin in accordance with the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. The Buy American Act applies. Inspection and acceptance will be at origin. Requested delivery is 120 days (for contractor to submit the FAT) and 90 days for delivery of production units (following the Government's review/approval/acceptance of the FAT). The solicitation will be issued as a firm-fixed-price procurement in accordance with FAR 16.202. The solicitation will be issued for a quantity of 400 each with a 100% quantity option. The evaluation factors used will be based on a Trade-off in accordance with FAR 15.101-1.
