This contract pertains to the procurement of seven units of a shear bolt, identified by NSN 5306-01-568-1687, with a delivery deadline set at 150 days after the award date. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense's ASC Commodities Division and is specifically linked to the Tinker Air Force Base location. The procurement falls under NAICS code 332722, indicating metal valve and pipe fitting manufacturing. Key compliance aspects include adherence to DLA packaging requirements and strict export control regulations, as the technical data associated with the bolt is subject to ITAR and EAR restrictions. Export control compliance requires that all contractors handling the technical data must be certified under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program, complete specific training modules on handling DOD export-controlled data, and receive approval from the DLA authority managing the data. The contract’s solicitation was posted on March 12, 2026, with proposals due by March 20, 2026. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Jeremy Stokes, who can be reached via email and phone for further inquiries. This contract reflects a federal-level procurement effort focusing on compliance with both packaging and export control protocols while fulfilling a specific operational need within the Department of Defense supply chain.
