BOLT, SHEAR

The contract calls for the procurement of 67 units of a shearing bolt, identified by NSN 5306012415075 and part number NAS6606-42, manufactured in accordance with the current revision of the non-government aerospace standard NAS6603 through NAS6620 Revision 11 dated December 31, 2025, and referenced quality assurance provisions including QAP 13873 and NAS4002 Revision 12. All hardware must conform to current and previously applicable revisions of the standard, but production from the solicitation date forward must strictly follow the latest revision. The item is classified as a critical application component, and while Item Unique Identification is not required per DFARS 252.211-7003(c)(1)(i), physical marking on the bare item must comply with paragraph 4.1.b(2) of MIL-STD-130N, including manufacturer logo, lot number, and material identification. Packaging and labeling must strictly adhere to MIL-STD-129, with palletization meeting DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement (RP001), and overall packaging in compliance with ASTM D3951 unless superseded by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which takes precedence. The material has no shelf life requirement. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin, with sampling governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, or zero non-conformance acceptance plans under MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4; critical, major, and minor attributes are assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. A Certificate of Conformance per FAR 52.246-15 is authorized unless overridden by a Quality Assurance Letter of Instruction, and a Certificate of Quality Compliance (CoQC) is required via CDRL-COQCCDRLs.
