The solicitation seeks 11 shear bolts, NSN 5306-01-205-9153, with part number NAS6209-7, manufactured in accordance with NAS6203 through NAS6220 Revision 13 dated December 31, 2024, and referenced against NAS4002 Revision 12 dated July 31, 2020. All hardware must conform to the current revision of the standard as of the solicitation date, and previously manufactured items produced under prior revisions that were current at the time of production remain acceptable. The item is procured as fully competitive under a federal specification, and sampling must adhere to MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331 Table 1, or a comparable zero-based plan, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively; unspecified attributes are treated as major. Alternative sampling methods like MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4 may be used for lot sizing but require zero non-conformances unless explicitly permitted otherwise. Packaging and preservation must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E using QUP 001, preservation method 10, and packaging level B, with palletization following DLA’s RP001 requirements. Marking must conform to MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130N paragraph 4.1.b(2), including manufacturer’s logo, lot number, and material identification as applicable.
