BOLT, SHEAR

This contract is for the procurement of 101 units of a shear bolt designated by NSN 5306-00-485-0767 and part number NAS673V19, manufactured in accordance with Revision 8 of the non-government standard NAS673 through NAS678, dated April 30, 2026. The item is classified as a commercial item and must comply with all applicable technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersede any other standards unless explicitly overridden. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin using zero-defect sampling based on MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. All hardware must be produced to the current revision of the governing standard, and previously manufactured items meeting prior current revisions are acceptable only if they were produced before the solicitation date. Packaging must adhere to ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, with palletization following DLA packaging guidelines. The item must be physically identified per MIL-STD-130N paragraph 4.1.b(2), in addition to required manufacturer markings, and all non-accepted supplies must have government identification removed. Quality conformance inspections and measuring equipment used must meet specified requirements, and a Certificate of Quality Compliance is mandatory. Delivery is FOB origin with a 69-day lead time, required by July 20, 2026, to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The contract prohibits quantity variance and specifies unit price and total value based on the unit of issue. All documentation and compliance obligations are controlled by the DLA Master List and contract amendments take precedence over original solicitations.
