AI Contract Overview
The contract solicits the procurement of six units of a specialized bolt under the identification number 5306-00-063-3778 with a delivery timeline of 125 days after the award date. It mandates compliance with several technical and quality requirements as outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with adherence to the version effective at the solicitation or award date. The contract requires that suppliers meet cybersecurity standards, including Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 certification, and adhere to guidelines for handling covered defense information. Additional stipulations include specific DLA packaging standards, physical marking of bare items, and restrictions on government identification removal from non-accepted supplies. Although unique item identification is not required upon request, export control regulations play a critical role, especially with the inclusion of technical data subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Contractors must be certified under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program, complete designated training, and receive approval for access to export-controlled technical data. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense’s Aviation Supply Chain organization, with Alaska Jones serving as the primary point of contact.
