Full Description

Scope: Work of this Contract consists of softball and soccer field improvements including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Page 4 of 22 1. Removal of existing synthetic turf field, including infill. 2. Removal of existing natural infield fines. 3. New drainage system for field including some modifications of existing drainage systems. 4. Installation of new synthetic turf, infill, infill topper, drain pad and filter fabric. (turf products are owner furnished) 5. Removal and replacement of existing chain link fence fabric, rails, including gate fence fabric and hardware with vinyl coated chain link fence fabric and powder coated rails and painted hardware. 6. Removal and replacement of existing dugout benches and trash receptacles. 7. Removal and replacement of existing in-wall step lighting fixtures. 8. Installation of new sports lighting retrofit fixtures on existing poles and controller to meet energy efficient LED lighting requirements. B. The Work specifically includes all work as represented by the Drawings and Specifications issued for construction and subsequent approved revisions and addenda.

Late responses will not be accepted. Hard copy responses of Submittals WILL NOT be accepted. The City is not responsible for and accepts no liability in the event a response is late due to any network, internet, or any other technical problem or interruption. Electronic PDF files of the plans, specifications and bid documents are available. The City is not responsible for any errors that may occur from the printing of any of these documents by bidders, including, but not limited to: scaling issues, print quality, failure to print and submission of all required documents. The Bid Results are immediately available to the public via PlanetBids following the Bid Opening Date (Bid Due Date). Members of the public who would like to attend the reading may go to the City Clerk’s Office (Located at 100 Civic Center Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660)
