Full Description

The U.S. Government requires a Broadband Access Network for a period of twelve (12) months in order to support the BOS-I Mission as described below. Equipment and services will be provided on a rental basis for a minimum period of twelve (12) months from 1 December 2015 to 30 November 2016. The proposed network design will be at the Garoua International Airport. The contractor shall supply Internet Services to the US Government for a period of 1 December 2015 to 30 November 2016. A 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) download throughput and 100 Mbps upload throughput with unlimited data are required for this requirement. The internet solution will provide all necessary equipment for the connection and will be maintained by the contractor with no more than a total of 12 hours of downtime in any 30 calendar-day period or 4 hours continuous during the same 30 day period. The contractor will supply the ability to connect 80 simultaneous users (IP space required) via a wireless solution covering, at a minimum, a 500 meter range. This network will be secured with a password to prevent unauthorized use, which will be provided to the unit communications section to maintain and change as necessary.
