Boulder County Parks and Open Space Land Surveying

Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) is soliciting statements of qualifications for licensed surveyors to provide services for properties within and adjacent to Boulder County. This is a project-by-project contract for services with a potential term of up to five years. Selected contractors must be authorized to do business in Colorado and provide professional licenses, a current rate sheet, and three references from similar projects completed within the last three years. The solicitation process requires the submission of a W-9 dated within the last 12 months and all communications must be handled through the EUNA portal. The evaluation process is based on a 100-point matrix focusing on general vendor experience, the ability to handle difficult mountainous terrain and weather, and problem-solving skills regarding incomplete legal descriptions. Technical requirements are stringent, requiring adherence to ALTA/NSPS and ASTM standards, as well as specific horizontal and vertical accuracy tolerances. Contractors must maintain Commercial General Liability insurance and comply with the Colorado Open Records Act. Payment is primarily handled via ACH, with a strict invoicing deadline of the 15th of each month for work performed in the prior month.
