The U.S. Embassy in Brasília is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the procurement of construction materials and supplies necessary for facility repair and maintenance activities. This BPA will serve as a framework agreement, enabling the Embassy to issue individual orders, known as "Calls," which will be funded separately based on specific operational needs. The agreement aims to partner with vendors who can provide items such as woods, MDF boards, carpentry tools, plywood sheets, and related materials at fair and competitive prices aligned with current market rates. To qualify, interested companies must demonstrate their ability to supply these categories and submit a signed SF-1449 form in response to RFQ No. 19BR2525Q0083 by the deadline of July 30, 2025. The procurement process emphasizes technical acceptability and cost reasonableness, with the ultimate goal of ensuring reliable supply support for the Embassy’s maintenance operations in Brasília. The solicitation, posted on July 16, 2025, is open to vendors fitting the specified categories, with no set-aside restrictions. The contract will be managed by the Department of State’s Office in Brasília, with key contacts including Leovegildo da Mata and the GSO Procurement team. Interested parties can find additional details and submit their proposals electronically through the provided links and contact information. This initiative underscores the Embassy’s commitment to maintaining its facilities efficiently through a streamlined procurement process that ensures quality supplies at fair prices.
