Full Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award to a small business for purchase of Tecniplast replacement equipment for the Isolation (ISO) cage system and the Slim Touch cage. This requirement will actually be structured as a BPA for the term of one year and will be paid by government credit card for each shipment; the purchase order issued will simply formalize the pricing and terms of the BPA. There are thirty anticipated shipments, and a shipping cost must be included on your quotation even if it is an estimate. Quotes without a shipping cost will not be accepted. You must quote on all line items. The items necessary are all Tecniplast products and are listed in the attachment. You should submit your bid based on this attachment, line item by line item. A Sole Source document for Tecniplast equipment is also attached. Again, please note that these items will not be shipped at one time, but will be ordered periodically during a period of 12 months starting at date of award. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 423450. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. Vendors shall be registered at SAM.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Bids should be e-mailed to the purchasing agent at contact@example.gov before close of business (4:30 p.m. ET) on February 12, 2015. Any questions should be addressed to the purchasing agent.
