Solicitation SPE7L1-27-T-0261 is a Request for Quotations issued by the Department of Defense, DLA Land and Maritime, Land Supply Chain for the procurement of 49 mounting brackets under NSN 5340-01-570-9249. The contract requires delivery to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California, with a delivery window of 293 days after order. A critical requirement of this procurement is the prohibition of parts produced via additive manufacturing. Additionally, the contract mandates First Article Testing (FAT) for three units, requiring the contractor to provide written notice to the Contracting Officer and Quality Assurance Representative at least 14 calendar days prior to shipment. The procurement is subject to strict technical and quality standards, including compliance with MIL-STD-129 for marking and RP001 for palletization. The manufacturer's inspection system must meet SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 standards, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the point of origin. Due to the nature of the technical data, this contract is subject to export controls under ITAR or EAR, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and adherence to various DFARS and FAR clauses regarding domestic sourcing, cybersecurity, and the Buy American Act.
