AI Contract Overview
The contract is for the procurement of a mounting bracket, identified by NSN 5340006959106 and part number 8694423, with a quantity of 17 units to be delivered within five days of order placement under FOB Origin terms. The item is manufactured using a metal casting process, requiring specialized tooling, and sourcing inquiries must be directed to DLA’s Aviation or Land and Maritime Supply Chain assistance teams. Quality compliance is governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersedes all other standards including ASTM D3951 for packaging. The product contains components subject to Qualified Products Lists or Qualified Manufacturers Lists, requiring strict adherence to qualification criteria outlined in procurement note H02. Sampling for inspection must follow MIL-STD-1916 or a comparable zero-based method, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively, and acceptance requires zero non-conformances in the sample lot unless otherwise specified. Packaging and labeling must conform to MIL-STD-129, with palletization following RP001 DLA packaging guidelines. Delivery is to Anniston Army Depot in Alabama, with freight shipment required via traceable means, excluding parcel post. The contract mandates electronic invoicing through WAWF and requires compliance with multiple FAR and DFARS clauses covering equal opportunity, trafficking in persons, employment verification, sustainable products, hazardous material identification, cybersecurity, export control, and prohibition of hexavalent chromium. The contract is fixed-price with full and open competition, and no small business set-aside applies. While pricing data is partially listed, unit and total pricing details are incomplete, preventing calculation of the total contract value. All documentation, including technical drawings, is available only during the open solicitation period through DIBBS. Contract performance is subject to government inspection and acceptance at the destination, with no pre-award site visits or key personnel requirements specified.
