AI Contract Overview
This solicitation, issued by DLA Land and Maritime under solicitation number SPE7L1-26-T-10L9, is a request for quotations for two mounting brackets, identified by NSN 5340-01-696-4462. The procurement is subject to technical and quality requirements found in the DLA Master List and must adhere to specific technical data, specifically TDP Rev A Gen 1. A critical restriction for this acquisition is that the government will not evaluate or award contracts for items produced using additive manufacturing processes. The delivery schedule requires shipment within 168 days, with a need ship date of March 9, 2027, and delivery to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, PA, under FOB Origin terms. The contract incorporates rigorous compliance standards, including the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and strict prohibitions against the use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals. Technical data subject to ITAR or EAR export controls requires contractors to hold approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and complete specific training. Packaging and marking must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, respectively. Regarding cybersecurity, contractors must adhere to DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information and meet CMMC Level 2 requirements. While the total contract value is to be determined by offeror quotes, HUBZone small businesses are eligible for price evaluation preferences. All invoicing and payment processing must be conducted electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
