Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-16-Q-0005 is to be a Brand-Name procurement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) for soliciting from a single source including brand name in that the circumstances of the contract action make only one source reasonably available. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 335931. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote for the purchase of one hundred (100) each of Part Number 10AT491-1..396, pushbutton switch package, by manufacturer Sensata Technologies Inc. This product is brand name and no other band name of the Javelin Enhanced Producibility Basic Skills Trainer (EPBST) Pushbutton Switch Package used for the Javelin Handgrip Trigger Switches meets the technical specifications required to support the rugged environmental conditions in which the Javelin EPBST will be deployed. Sensata Technologies Inc. has been identified as the only manufacturer of the specific requested switches. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84.
