1. Intent: To engage a single contractor to perform the bridge work. 2. Scope of Service: 1.) Bridge No. 924169 is known as “Celebration Place over C-2 Canal” County bridges are inspected by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) every two (2) years. Utilizing these inspection reports and additional reviews, the set of plans were created to address issues. Bridge No. 924169: work includes spall repair, epoxy, injections and sealing, guardrail, permanent tape, and miscellaneous other work. Please review the plans and visit the site prior to bidding.Note: A Right of Way permit will not be required for this project. No permits are needed for this work as it is considered maintenance. If a dewatering permit is required, that will be the responsibility of the contractor.3. Contractor Pre-Qualification or Experience: Demonstrate previous experience in completing three (3) similar projects within the past five (5) years. Attachment “F” Experience of Bidder of the solicitation documentation must be completed and included with the Bidder’s submittal. Note: The County, at its sole discretion, will evaluate information provided by a Bidder in Attachment “F”Experience of Bidder, and determine whether or not the indicated “similar projects” represent a comparison and reflect the requisite experience required by the County to complete the projects’ detailed in this solicitation.4.
