The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source, fixed-price contract with BSD Robotics PTY LTD, 11 Aldinga Street, Brendale, Qld, 4500, Australia, for BSD Preventative Maintenance. The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Science and Technology Contracts Unit has a need for BSD Preventative Maintenance on behalf of the Federal DNA Database Unit (FDDU), Laboratory Division). BSD is uniquely qualified to provide this service because they are the manufacturer and the only approved provider of the necessary preventive maintenance needed to keep the punchers working to support the FDDU sample processing. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 541380, Testing Laboratory. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
