Operational Security Cameras Bagwell and North Cargo AreasThe contract entails the full spectrum of design, permitting, and construction services required to install 50 high-resolution surveillance cameras across 43 distinct locations in the Bagwell and North Cargo Operations areas of the Port of Seattle. The primary objective is to enhance security and operational oversight by replacing outdated systems with advanced imaging technology that supports detailed forensic investigations and enforces the Port’s movement rules and regulations. In the Bagwell area, the new camera network will expand coverage to include key drive lanes and entrances, areas currently under-monitored as existing units focus on conveyor systems and security doors. In the North Cargo Operations zone, the solution will introduce flexible, user-controlled Pan Tilt Zoom units to deliver dynamic, broad-area surveillance that adapts to varying operational needs. The project is managed by the Aviation Project Management Group under the Port of Seattle, with primary point of contact Angela Peterson and Project Manager Randa Williams available for coordination. The effort aligns with NAICS code 238210 for electrical contractors and is posted as a forecast with no set-aside designation.
