The Real Property and Planning Management (RPPM) team at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is mandated by the Government of Canada to maintain and operate these research centers, including their equipment and networks of Canada for the maintenance and operation of these research centers, including specialized equipment and networks. The present mandate consists of modernizing the security automation and electronic building control systems installed at the Royalmount site during the various construction phases. This modernization involves upgrading 18 existing Honeywell XL500 and XL50.
