This contract is for roofing repairs at Building BB6 on Middle Street at Courthouse Bay aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, under solicitation number N4008526R9068. Only six pre-qualified MACC contractors listed in the solicitation are eligible to submit proposals, and the award will be made on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. The project involves removing the existing asphalt shingles and bitumen roof and replacing it with a new standing seam metal roof and a minimum two-ply SBS modified bitumen roof membrane set in hot asphalt, all in compliance with NRCA RoofMan guidelines, SMACNA 1013, and multiple ASTM and ASCE standards. The work must be completed within 360 days of award, and the estimated contract value ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
