City of Fillmore BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS, SEISMIC RETROFIT, STRUCTURAL REPAIRS, AND UPGRADES INCLUDING HVAC, ENERGY (TITLE 24)/ WATER EFFICIENCY UPGRADES AND ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADE CDBG FEDERAL/LOCAL PROJECT RFP-BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS Closing Date: 08/31/2026 5:00:00 PM PT Details: • Seismic retrofit, structural repairs, and upgrades (as needed). • Installation of new VRF HVAC system. • Interior Hazardous Material Abatement as necessary, to include but not be limited to Asbestos removal, Lead Based Paint removal or encapsulation, mold remediation, etc., per Ventura County Air Pollution Control District Standards. • Fire Sprinkler rough-in, heads and connections. • Energy (Title 24) and Water Efficiency Upgrades. Any upgrades to the electrical system must be designed to support future installation of emergency generators and/or energy storage (batteries). • Window and door replacement as needed for energy efficiency and security. • Update the exterior path of travel to main portions of the building to California Accessibility standards and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). • Remaining Lighting upgrades (interior and exterior). • Update all restrooms and the building interior to current ADA standards, as necessary. • Update the exterior path of travel to ADA standards, ADA parking, and signage to be included. • Complete plans and details of upgrading work shall be designed and stamped signed by a licensed architect or engineer. • The plan check and permit process with the City of Fillmore building department is required. • Plan check and permit fees shall be paid for by the contractor.
