Full Description

The Burlington Train Depot has four (4) canopies providing 8,710 square feet of cover. Records indicate they were built between 1990 and 2010. Three of the canopies were constructed using a Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof and the fourth, metal. All roofs are showing signs of deterioration due to age and environmental factors.
PBO met with Garland/DBS Inc. and determined that the roof can be fortified with the application of Unibond fabric reinforcement and two coats of White Knight fluid membrane. After the coating is cured, the roof life will be extended by 20 years.
Staff has identified an approved cooperative contract, Omnia Partners Cooperative Contract #PW1925 through Garland/DBS Inc., for the procurement of the roof repairs.
The work is anticipated to begin after the award with a completion date of December 31, 2024.
