WeGo Public Transit is seeking qualified Proposer(s) to provide Construction Services for the bus wash modernization project to fully modernize and rebuild the bus wash facility located at 130 Nestor Street in Nashville, Tennessee, 37210. The project replaces the existing bus wash equipment in its entirety with a new two-lane, drive-through friction wash system and integrated water reclamation, engineered for sustained high-volume service of approximately 400 vehicles per day across a mixed fleet ranging from 27-foot cutaways to 60-foot articulated buses. During the second or third year of the Initial Term of the awarded Contract, this project may include the option to fully modernize and rebuild the bus wash facility located at 430 Myatt Drive, Nashville, Tennessee, 37115. The defining objective is reliability. Beyond standard wash performance, the system must be designed to keep running: redundant pumps with automatic failover, independent lane operation so one lane keeps washing if the other is down, N+1 blower redundancy, surge-tank and bypass protection for the reclamation system, and continuous data logging with predictive-maintenance alerts. The Proposer(s) selected for Contract award, shall be responsible for removal and lawful disposal of the existing equipment, all installation and infrastructure, commissioning, training, warranty requirements. The Proposer(s) selected for Contract award, shall be required, to verify by demonstrating the installed bus wash system, meets the minimum quality standards, performance criteria, and enhanced throughput performance acceptance test requirements. This competitive procurement is FTA direct funded and T-DOT State funded.
