The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for Business Entity Verification (BEV) services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to negotiate and award a "bridge" purchase order to provide continuation of services currently being performed under contract # HSTS02-07-C-CGO032 awarded to Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), 4350 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203. This "bridge" purchase order will address the BEV requirements of the Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement's (OSPIE) Air Cargo Program. The proposed "bridge" contract action will provide for continuation of current BEV services and is anticipated to result in the award of a sole-source purchase order with the incumbent contractor, D&B, for a period not to exceed three (3) months (August 1, 2012 through October 31, 2012). This "bridge" mechanism is required in order to allow for continued operations while awaiting receipt of the D&B proposal, evaluation of the proposal as well as the time necessary to prepare the award documents. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by emailing the points of contact below. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within five business days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.
