C-17 Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Tool and Annual Database (DB) Sustainment

This is a solicitation notice for a requirement for C-17 Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Tool and Database (DB) Sustainment. No other notice will be posted. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a firm fixed price contract for supporting C-17 TAWS Tool and DB sustainment and maintenance, to include mandated software development and testing activities in support of fielded operational Air Mobility Command (AMC) C-17 missions. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source by a request for proposal. The pre-solicitation notice was issued as FA8526-19-R-0022, and it has been changed to FA8526-20-R-0003 due to the new Government fiscal year. Period of Performance: 6 months with 2 3-month Options This RFP will be issued on a sole source basis to Jacobs Technology, Inc., CAGE 7W309, due to the fact that Jacobs is the sole C-17 TAWS Tool and DB developer and is currently the only source who can satisfy Air Force (AF) requirements. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration. Proposal shall be prepared in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. Proposal is due 08 November 2019; however, an earlier submittal is encouraged. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at https://www.fbo.gov/ only.
