The Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) is soliciting qualifications for professional building commissioning services under solicitation number 1475-27-R-RFQI-00001. The selected professional will provide a systematic quality assurance process spanning from pre-design through the one-year warranty period to improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and equipment life. The contract fee is structured as a percentage of the construction cost. Qualifications must be submitted in duplicate hard copy and electronic format to the MDAH Finance Office by 5 p.m. on November 19, 2026. Selection is conducted via a two-stage process following the State of Mississippi Bureau of Building Professional Selection Policy. A short list is first determined based on a 100-point scale evaluating the project team, relevant experience, past performance with MDAH, site presence, and fresh perspective.
