Provide all necessary architectural and engineering services required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates, including services throughout construction for Project No. 626-11-203, Replace Attic AHUs Building 1 at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Work includes architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and industrial hygiene. Work involves replacement of two outdated, problematic air handling units (AHUs), return fans (RFs) and associated equipment in the Building 1 attic. The construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 250 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro, TN. The NAICS code is 541310 and the size standard is $4.5 million. This procurement is 100% set-aside to small business firms. The selection criteria will include: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; 2) specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects; 3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; 6) cost control and estimating effectiveness; (7) Veteran owned business status.
