C -- Denver Construction Inspections

The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to award one contract to provide Construction Inspection Services, to include the states of Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The purpose of this contract is to obtain services of a contractor to serve as HUD's representative in conducting the required inspections and to perform various HUD construction contract administration tasks (review change orders, payment requests, schedules, etc.). Inspections shall be made to evaluate the builder's and supervisory architect's performance, to obtain construction in accordance with the construction contract documents, and to report on conformance with prevailing wages (when applicable) and other construction contract requirements. This requirement is a HUBZone Set-Aside. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a proposal. The contract will have a base period of two (2) years, and three (3) one-year options. The Request for Proposals will be issued on or about February 5, 2004. The closing date for receipt of offers will be on or about March 8, 2004.
