The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award Kollmorgen Electro-Optical Corporation a $1,308,000 modification to contract N00024-05-C-4310 for technical engineer services and support for the MK 20 Electro-Optical Sighting System (EOSS). Kollmorgen Electro-Optical Corporation, 347 King Street, Northampton, MA 01060 is the only qualified source that can provide support services in conjunction with the production of MK 20 EOSS by Kollmorgen through September 2011. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirement.
