Solicitation # 80JSC027R0004
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center is soliciting proposals under solicitation 80JSC027R0004 for the Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination Contract. This effort seeks a Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price structure, for the design, development, manufacture, launch, and operation of a Commercial LEO Destination System to succeed the International Space Station. The system comprises three primary components: the Crew Transportation System, the Commercial LEO Destination, and the Cargo Transportation System. Performance is measured across three capability categories ranging from one-month crew tended missions to six-month standard service missions. The contract includes a base ordering period from April 2027 through April 2035, with two subsequent option periods extending the potential performance through April 2042. Proposals are due by December 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Central Time, with Volume III regarding past performance requested early on November 24, 2026. Award decisions will be based on best value, evaluating Mission Suitability, Price, and Past Performance, with Mission Suitability being the most significant technical factor. The scope of work involves rigorous certification and safety standards, including compliance with AS9100 and specific human space flight requirements. Key contractual obligations include the submission of an Organizational Conflicts of Interest plan, adherence to the Outer Space Treaty, and the procurement of specific property damage insurance for certain launch vehicle categories. Full Description

The Space Systems Command (SSC) Enterprise Corps (EC), Cross Mission Ground and Communications Directorate (ECX) is soliciting information on potential approaches the Government could execute in order to migrate existing Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) assets from the legacy Command and Control (C2) solution to the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) C2 solution i.e., Enterprise Ground Services (EGS). The contractor should provide details on how the Government should design, develop, integrate, and test the proposed solution. The overall approach should address key areas such as 1) supporting advanced software solutions; 2) leveraging existing/ongoing efforts; 3) resolving obsolescence issues; 4) incrementally delivering capabilities; 5) operating the solution; and 6) reducing the overall Operations & Sustainment (O&S) costs for the FORGE C2 thrust. Additional technical documentation is available upon request. Refer to the Attachment "C2X Final - RFI_03Dec2021" for further details.

Kronos Family of Systems Commercial Solutions Opening
Solicitation # FA8806-26-S-0001
The Kronos Family of Systems Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO), solicitation FA8806-26-S-0001, is a competitive effort by Space Systems Command to acquire innovative commercial products, technologies, and services to enhance the US Space Force Command and Control mission. The scope focuses on prototypes in areas such as cloud computing, AI/ML decision-support tools, cybersecurity, and mission-specific software applications. The government utilizes a rolling solicitation structure with multiple Areas of Interest (AOIs), where awards may be made via FAR-based fixed-price contracts or Other Transaction Agreements (OTA). The acquisition process is phased, beginning with Phase 1A submissions consisting of a five-page white paper and a quad chart. Selected offerors may proceed to Phase 1B pitch sessions and eventually Phase II full proposals, which require detailed technical approaches, statements of work conforming to MIL-HDBK-245E, and editable Excel pricing models. Evaluation is conducted by subject matter expert peer reviews focusing on government interest, technical validity, innovation compliance, and vendor viability rather than a lowest-price basis. Key requirements for offerors include active SAM registration, compliance with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity standards, and the submission of an Organizational Conflict of Interest mitigation plan. While the parent solicitation provides overarching guidance, specific due dates and instructions are established within individual Calls for each AOI. Prototype performance periods are generally estimated at six months following award, with a strong emphasis on open standards, modular architectures, and DevSecOps methodologies.
