This is a Notice of Intent to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to PC Enterprises, Hawaii for the Cabinets, Cabling and Patch Panels expansion in DISA-PAC , Room 189, Bldg 77, Pearl Harbor (Ford sland), Hawaii. The original design for the room had 84Ortronics equipment cabinets interconnected with cooper and fiber cabling through MDF and power through monitored DPUs interconnected to BAS critical infrastructure monitoring system. The objective is to increase equipment capacity of equipment room by adding two new cabinets and installing cabling (fiber and CAT6) from 2 new and 4existing cabinets to MDF. Relocate existing cabinet from row 2 to row 3. Install 6 PDUs in the 2 new and 4existing cabinets. Modify cool aisle containment to accommodate new cabinets. Re-pair/replace damaged plastic containment and replace 5 doors with sliding doors. Ortronics DCC452448 cabinets must be installed to allow for parts interchangeability and proper fit and function with existing racks. This cabinet is currently discontinued. PC Enterprise, Hawaii, installed the Equipment Room's cabinets, cold isle containment, Power Distribution Units (PDU), and inter-cabinet/room cable during the DISA PAC MILCON in 2012. As such, they have the proprietary drawings for the cabinets, cable layout, and cold isle containment that are required to manufacture cabinets and properly install cabling/containment. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. This purchase will be under the Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 12; Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13; and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
