This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source and is not a request for competitive proposals. The authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Gordon intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price award to WOW (Wide Open West) of Augusta, GA IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification for the sole source is due to WOW (Wide Open West) of Augusta, Georgia being the only cable service provider on Fort Gordon, Georgia. WOW owns all infrastructures, equipment and currently does not have any distributors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by January 19, 2018 at 12:00 PM EST. All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. MICC - Fort Gordon will not responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice.
