AI Contract Overview
The contract is a Request for Quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency’s Aviation Commodity Division for three units of a cable assembly identified by NSN 5995-01-694-7835, with delivery required within 295 days after receipt of order, targeting a ship date of May 16, 2027. The item is designated as a critical application component and must conform to drawing revision C dated December 30, 2012, with part number UA-2476 and technical documentation revision TDP Rev A Gen 1. The solicitation incorporates technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with specific provisions for physical identification, packaging, and marking in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, including mandatory use of QUP 001, packaging method 10, and unit container E5. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin with sampling governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance unless otherwise specified; quality systems must meet SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 tailored to AS9003. Participation requires submission of a Safety Data Sheet and representation in SAM confirming small business status and compliance with the Buy American Act and Berry Amendment. Electronic invoicing through WAWF is mandatory, with fast pay not applicable. Cybersecurity requirements include CMMC Level 2 certification for third-party assessors and full compliance with FAR clauses 252.204-7012 and 252.240-7997 for safeguarding covered defense information and NIST SP 800-171 adherence. Offers must be submitted via DIBBS by July 24, 2026, and the contract is not a small business set-aside, though HUBZone price evaluation preferences are available
