It incorporates strict technical and quality requirements as outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which govern specifications, packaging, and acceptance protocols. Compliance with cybersecurity standards is also mandated, specifically a CMMC Level 2 certification from an approved third-party assessment organization, reflecting the sensitivity of the technical data involved. The contract is subject to stringent export control regulations due to the nature of the technical data associated with the cable assembly, which is governed by both the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
