AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-49T0 seeks the delivery of a single cable assembly identified by NSN 5995-01-735-9325, with a required delivery within 20 days after award to Cherry Point, North Carolina under FOB Origin terms. The item is subject to stringent military and federal standards including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and preservation using a cold/dry method with no preservation material, and MIL-STD-129 for marking, labeling, and barcoding, though Item Unique Identification is explicitly not required. Sampling and acceptance are governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 with zero non-conformances required in the sample lot unless otherwise specified, and attributes are classified with defined verification levels or AQLs—critical at VII/0.1, major at IV/1.0, and minor at II/4.0. The contract incorporates technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List and imposes export control obligations under DFARS 252.225-7048, restricting access to authorized contractors with JCP certification, completed training, and approved access credentials, as the technical data is subject to ITAR or EAR. Cybersecurity requirements mandate compliance with NIST SP 800-171 for safeguarding covered defense information, with mandatory assessments posted in SPRS and flow-down obligations to subcontracts above the simplified acquisition threshold. The contractor must use Wide Area WorkFlow for invoicing and comply with hazardous materials labeling per OSHA and MIL-STD-129, while also notifying the Contracting Officer in advance of any radioactive materials. Offerors must hold a valid UEI and CAGE code, report size status and socioeconomic classifications including HUBZone eligibility, and avoid use of prohibited telecommunications equipment. The solicitation requires electronic submission via DIBBS by the deadline of May 18, 2026, with no pricing information provided in the document, indicating the award will be based on technical acceptability and potential use of LPTA methodology, though formal evaluation factors are not detailed.
