AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-37SD, issued by the DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division, is a request for quotations for seven special purpose electrical cable assemblies, identified by NSN 6150-01-477-1234 and Johnson Controls Navy Systems part number 031-01609-000. The procurement requires delivery within 139 days after order, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination in Tracy, California. All supplies must adhere to strict quality and technical requirements, including RA001 and RP001, and must be marked according to MIL-STD-129. The contract mandates a zero-based sampling plan per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, where unspecified attributes are treated as major. A critical environmental restriction prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds to the hardware, with limited exceptions for specific functional components. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E, and any hazardous materials must be labeled according to the Hazard Communication Standard. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with the Buy American Act and DFARS cybersecurity standards for safeguarding covered defense information.
