AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-59U6 seeks the delivery of 19 cable assemblies identified by NSN 5995-01-697-0336, with a strict delivery requirement of 20 days after award to Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. The items must comply with a comprehensive set of technical, packaging, and marking standards including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for labeling and barcoding, and RQ017 for bare item identification. Quality assurance requires zero non-conformances in sampling under MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with unspecified attributes treated as major and acceptance criteria strictly enforced. Technical data associated with the item is subject to export controls under ITAR or EAR, mandating compliance with DFARS 252.225-7048, and access is restricted to contractors certified under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program, trained in handling DoD export-controlled data, and approved by DLA. The contract incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses addressing cybersecurity, trafficking in persons, employment eligibility, sustainable products, hazardous materials, safeguarding defense information, subcontracting, inspection, and contract administration. Notably, it includes 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information and cyber incident reporting, and 252.240-7997 for NIST SP 800-171 assessment requirements, reinforcing CMMC Level 2 requirements for third-party assessment organizations. Packaging must follow DLA-specific RP001 standards with preservation method CLNG/DRY:1, and all shipments must use DIBBS for electronic submission prior to the May 26, 2026 deadline. Invoices must be submitted via WAWF, and the contractor must complete mandatory representations in Section K regarding size status, joint venture structure, and compliance with prohibitions on defense telecommunications from Communist Chinese military companies. FOB Origin terms apply, and all items are subject to destination inspection by the Government. The total contract value is not specified, with unit pricing omitted, and the contract type remains undetermined until award.
