AI Contract Overview
The contract specifies the procurement of 12 units of a specialized cable assembly identified by NSN 6150-01-258-3702 under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-09ZT, with a delivery deadline of 94 days after award. The item is subject to stringent technical and quality requirements referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with verification standards governed by MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based sampling plans, requiring zero non-conformances in sampled lots unless otherwise stated. Attributes are classified as critical, major, or minor with corresponding verification levels or AQLs, and unspecified attributes default to major. The assembly is covered by Defense Information and must comply with DLA packaging standards and configuration change management protocols, including engineering change proposals and variance requests. Physical identification of the item must adhere to specified marking requirements, and any government identification on non-accepted supplies must be removed. The technical data associated with this cable assembly is subject to U.S. export control under ITAR or EAR, prohibiting unauthorized disclosure to foreign persons anywhere, including within the U.S., and applies to both foreign and domestic entities. DFARS 252.225-7048 governs compliance, and access to this controlled data is restricted to contractors who hold valid US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification, have completed mandatory DOD export-controlled data training and the DLA questionnaire, and have received formal approval from DLA. Cybersecurity compliance requires CMMC Level 2 certification by a third-party assessment organization. The solicitation was issued by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division with performance located in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and the point of contact is Angela Boyce. The NAICS code 334419 indicates classification under Other Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, and the deadline for responses was August 5, 2026.
