AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE4A6-26-R-XE22 is a total small business set-aside issued by the DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of special purpose electrical cable assemblies, identified by NSN 6150-01-514-5993. The requirement is intended to result in a bilateral Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) with firm fixed pricing, featuring a five-year base period and a total contract value ceiling of 350,000 dollars. The estimated annual demand is 24 units, with a minimum delivery order quantity of 12 and a maximum of 24. Delivery is required within 275 days after receipt of order to various CONUS stock locations, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contractor must adhere to strict quality and packaging standards, including ASTM D3951 for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, while ensuring that DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements take precedence. Quality assurance involves sampling methods per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with a general requirement for zero non-conformances in sample lots. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information. Award decisions will be based on a comparative assessment of price, past performance, and quoted delivery, with past performance weighted as significantly more important than other non-price factors.
