Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-1109, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division, is a request for quotations for 12 units of a special purpose electrical cable assembly, NSN 5995-01-699-0123. This is a source controlled item that must be manufactured and tested according to cited limited rights data. Because the government cannot provide this data, only vendors with existing access or those who can provide traceability to approved sources should quote. Companies seeking source approval must submit a Source Approval Request package. The required delivery date is October 31, 2027, with shipping designated as FOB Destination to the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. The contract mandates strict quality and technical compliance, requiring sampling in accordance with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 and a manufacturer inspection system complying with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Packaging and marking must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129. Due to the nature of the technical data, the item is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Additionally, the contract incorporates critical defense clauses regarding the safeguarding of covered defense information, cybersecurity reporting, and prohibitions on covered defense telecommunications equipment. Invoicing and payment must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
