IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Suppliers are strongly encouraged to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post Corporation’s (CPC) Connect service for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. To use Connect service to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Western Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at roreceptionSoumissions.wrbidreceiving@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca Faxed bids will be accepted at 1-418-566-6167. --------------- REQUIREMENT:
The Department of National Defence (DND) requires a contract for the installation, supply and maintenance of Cable or Satellite Television services to multiple locations within Garrison Wainwright, Denwood, Alberta. It is requested that all deliverables be received, installed and fully operational with cable/satellite services by January 31, 2023.
Refer to the Compliance Matrix for the complete performance specifications and instructions that must be satisfied in order for a bid to be deemed responsive. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, and Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder attend a work site visit. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Building 593 on November 8, 2022. The site visit will begin at 8:30 a.m. MST at front office. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than November 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. MDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid.
EVALUATION AND SELECTION: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
