PR F3Y0AS9160AC02 Cable Television Service The Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Cox Communication, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to provide cable service to Tinker AFB, OK. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide: Digital Tuners: 10 Basic Outlets: 258 Expanded Outlets: 629 Premium Outlets: 3 Installation and disconnect service for 1 year. The proposed period of performance: Basic Period with three 1-year options. History: Previously awarded to Cox Communications, Inc; FA8101-09-C-0002 In accordance with the FAR Availability of Funds, the Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 30 Sep 09. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 515210 with a size standard of $15M. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can be electronically registered at www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required, and contractors can electronically register at www.orca.bpn.org. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
