The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.3021 entitled, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered;however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Mathworks, Inc. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole source contract for delivery to provide the US Army RDECOM, SED with Cable TV Service provided by WOW, Inc. AMRDEC has a requirement for cable TV service for AMRDEC buildings and internet service for the System Simulation and Development Directorate in Building 3707. Cable TV service will be provided for outlets in AMRDEC buildings. Cable TV services are required in order to keep personnel aware of the current global situation. The service provides access to many news outlets keeping personnel current on worldwide activities. This access is essential because all means to gain, maintain, and increase our knowledge should be utilized. The most effective means of situational awareness is the major news media via cable TV. This action also provides for internet service required in Building 3707 for connectivity of equipment that cannot be connected to an Army or DoD network. Period of Performance is 12 months. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerers - Commercial. The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- CommercialItems. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports. 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of CommercialItems. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
