The City of Escondido is processing a minor modification to a previously approved Major Conditional Use Permit (PL23-0340) for the California Metals Services Recycling Center, located at 1416 and 1428 W Mission Road, Escondido, California. Under project identifiers PL25-0173 and PL25-0154, the modification seeks to revise Condition of Approval Item E.7 of Resolution No. 2024-04R. The primary scope of work involves the removal of an existing 8-foot concrete masonry unit wall and pilasters and the installation of an 8-foot wrought iron semi-opaque fence with matching gates.
