LETTING LOCATION: 1109 South Marion Ave POSTING DATES: 06/08/2026 and 06/15/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: 225 CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 00 Days (acq. time) This Work Document Driven Contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, maintenance of traffic, and incidentals necessary to perform interstate vegetation management operations within the Lake City Operations Area in Baker, Columbia, Hamilton, Madison, and Suwannee Counties. Work includes selective clearing and grubbing of interstate roadway right of ways on I-10 and I-75 to include cutting, removal, and disposal of trees, brush, stumps, roots, and other objectionable materials; grinding of stumps; and removal and disposal of all resulting debris as directed by the work document. Perform stump grinding to the required depth below finished grade; backfilling and restoration of disturbed areas to match existing grades; proper disposal of all materials are incidental to the selective clearing and grubbing pay item and no burning of debris allowed on state right-of-way. Coordination with other projects will be required at no additional cost to the Department. Basis of Payment: all work and incidentals shall be included under the selective clearing and grubbing pay item. The award of this contract will be based on the lowest responsive bidder for the items of work included in the base bid. The Department may award the alternate or any combination thereof based on the bid price associated with the corresponding alternate. Base Bid ? I-10 Madison, Suwannee, and Columbia Counties Time: 225 calendar days Alternate A ? I-75 Hamilton and Suwannee Counties Time: 60 calendar days Alternate B ? I-75 Columbia County Time: 45 calendar days Alternate C ? I-10 Baker County Time: 60 calendar days Alternate D ? I-10 Rest Areas in Madison County (EB and WB) Time: 30 calendar days *If alternates are awarded, the time shown in the bid breakdown for the respective alternate will be added to the contract time* The budgetary estimate for this contract shall be $4,000,000.00, over the term of the contract. Award will be made at the Departments Budgetary Estimate. (Proposed Budget Estimate includes, but is not limited to, base bid and alternates A,B,C, and or D.)
