The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), part of the NIH, intends to award a sole-source contract to Exprodo Software Ltd for Calpendo Software Licenses, which are essential for managing scheduling of conference rooms and animal procedure rooms at NINDS. This procurement is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures, with the software having been in use at NINDS for three years, making it the only viable source due to its specialized functionality and the significant time and resources required to transition to a different system. The contract will cover an initial 12-month period starting March 12, 2025, with up to four additional one-year option periods, extending the performance through March 11, 2030. This notice emphasizes that the software’s unique web-based calendaring capabilities are critical for operational efficiency and security compliance, and no other sources can meet these specific requirements. The agency invites responsible parties to submit capability statements by February 11, 2025, demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement, including necessary registration details such as the UEI, TIN, and business size certification. Responses should be sent electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, and this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. The government retains sole discretion regarding whether to proceed on a non-competitive basis based on the responses received.
